The Tembo by Madcow Rocketry is a high-power kit, which can also be launched with G motor. The Tembo kit is a conventional 3 fin design product featuring full through-the-wall fins mounting to motor tube, laser cut fin slots, Tubular Nylon Shock Cord and Delrin Rail Buttons.

This is an advanced kit.
You need to adjust CG, pick the parachute and retainer, therefore we suggest this kit for people with previous rocket building experience. The pattern is painted on, and is not a decal. Epoxy can cause an allergic reaction in some people. Adult supervision and wearing rubber gloves is recommended when working with epoxy.


This kit does not include an engine retention system. It is up to the builder to provide for motor retention. We recommend the 38mm diameter Aero Pack Engine Retainers (38P). They also give any rocket an extra professional-looking appearance.
