Impact of the Canada Post Strike on Deliveries
The ongoing labor disruptions caused by the Canada Post strike in 2024 have significantly affected shipping logistics across the country. Canadian Rocket Store Becomes Proud Sponsor of SOAR at the University of Calgary
Canadian Rocket Store is excited to announce our sponsorship of the Student Organization for Aerospace Research (SOAR), a dynamic and innovative student engineering team at the University of Calgary. SOAR, renowned for their excellence in designing and launching hybrid rockets, has recently achieved international acclaim by winning 1st place in the hybrid engine 10K feet category at the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition. Competing against over 130 universities from more than 60 countries, SOAR captivated an audience of 6,000 in person and over 35,000 online with their groundbreaking hybrid rocket engine, entirely designed and manufactured by students.

Canadian Rocket Store Announces Sponsorship of RockETS Student Rocketry Club
Canadian Rocket Store is thrilled to announce our sponsorship of Club RockETS, an esteemed rocketry club comprised of talented students from the École de Technologie Supérieure (Montreal). This collaboration strengthens our commitment to supporting educational initiatives and nurturing the next generation of rocketry enthusiasts in Canada.
Founded in 2012, Club RockETS is a vibrant community known for its dedication to developing high-power rockets and promoting aerospace sciences. With a team of 40 active members, including 22 alumni, the club engages in various activities that inspire both new and seasoned hobbyists. The club boasts expertise in avionics, aerostructures, firmware, and hybrid engines. Notable achievements by Club RockETS include launching the Aarluk III LCE to nearly 28,000 feet in 2022 and the record-setting Taqqiq rocket, which soared to 37,000 feet in 2023.
